This industry consists of radio and television stations that broadcast programs free of charge to the public. Broadcast signals travel over the airwaves from a station?s transmission tower to the antennas of television sets and radios; personal computers can also be equipped to receive the transmissions. Anyone in the signal area with a radio, television, or properly equipped personal computer can receive the programming.
